Information Session: Atlantic PATH

Accelerate Your Research with Atlantic PATH

Atlantic PATH can help researchers and graduate students save the time, effort, and money they would normally spend recruiting study participants and collecting samples.

  • Atlantic PATH is the Atlantic branch of the Canadian Partnership for Tomorrow Project (CPTP), Canada’s largest health research platform.
  • CPTP has recruited over 300,000 participants across 5 cohorts and will continue to follow their health for 30 years.
  • This research platform is designed to expedite studies on how genetics, the environment, lifestyle, and behaviour interact with and contribute to the development of cancer and other chronic diseases.
  • The data and samples (saliva, blood, urine, toenail) collected through Atlantic PATH, as well as the other CPTP cohorts, are available to the academic research community through a formal application process.

Atlantic PATH is an extraordinary resource for researchers in Atlantic Canada.

If you are interested in learning more about Atlantic PATH, please join us for an information session: Friday, March 2, KCIC Meeting Room, 2:30-3:30 pm
