ACEnet is the regional partner of Compute Canada that provides advanced computing resources and expertise to researchers in Atlantic Canada. It now has an office at Acadia.

Offering access to over 180,000 cores of computing processing capability and over 20 PBs of storage nationally, ACEnet can help researchers determine the computing resources required for their project, complete that portion of funding applications if the resources are not readily available through Compute Canada, interface with vendors, as well as design and troubleshoot code and customize tools. Training and ongoing support are also easily available to researchers.

With the computing power and ever increasing volumes of data available, the opportunities are enormous for researchers to tackle new questions, take on problems previously insurmountable, and participate in cross-disciplinary, inter-institutional, and commercial collaborations.

Drop by ACEnet’s office at Emmerson 212 for a chat with Michele Fash, ACEnet’s Marketing & Business Development Manager, or email her at michele.fash@acadiau.ca. For more information, visit www.ace-net.ca.
