Canada’s freshwater birds are at risk of plastic contamination
MSc Biology student, Erika Holland recently had her first paper come out in the high impact, peer-reviewed journal Science of the Total Environment. Erika is not yet officially through the first year of her MSc, so it is quite amazing to have produced this landmark paper so early in her research career. Her proud co-supervisors, Dr. Dave Shutler and Dr. Mark Mallory, quipped that she should "stop resting on her accolades" and get back to work on another paper!
