A safe, reliable and sustainable way to generate power, tidal energy is opening new doors in the renewable energy sector.
In the coming months, Cape Sharp Tidal, a joint venture between Emera Inc. and OpenHydro, plans to put two in-stream tidal turbines at the FORCE test site in the Minas Passage and connect to the Nova Scotia power grid
You’re invited to attend a community open house meeting to connect with our team, ask any questions, and learn more about our vision to generate renewable energy in the Bay of Fundy and build a tidal industry in Nova Scotia. Members of FORCE and the Province of Nova Scotia will also be on site to speak about their role in the project. We look forward to meeting you.
