Tekmap Consulting is a Nova Scotia based company that provides customized mapping solutions.  The company will be working with Post Doctoral researcherThomas Roc and Meghan Swanburg from the Acadia Tidal Energy Institute to explore commercialization of tidal energy related software & services.  Opportunities exist in the area of software development and enhanced services derived from the ongoing work being done with PySeidon, a tool for analyzing measured & simulated hydrodynamic data.  Commercialization interactions during this project will assist Tekmap in entering the international tidal energy market, among other benefits.”
