Meet our Productivity and Innovation partners, featuring: Truleaf Sustainable Agriculture
TruLeaf Sustainable Agriculture in Bible Hill NS started in 2011, they have developed multi-level farming systems that integrate innovation in agricultural lighting systems with hydroponics and climate controlled technologies to produce fresh greens year round. TruLeaf will be working with Professor Matt McSweeney a food scientist from the School of Nutrition and Dietetics along with the Rural Innovation Centre. Continued work will be completed through a comprehensive sensory analysis of some of their product line.
